We work with transparency and accountability in the management of public and private resources, ensuring that every investment translates into real and measurable social impact.

We are a nonpartisan organization whose mission is to strengthen governments so they can deliver high-quality, equitable public services to everyone in Brazil, reducing social inequalities and reinforcing democracy.
Our work focuses on strengthening public education, including literacy, learning recovery, and education for adolescents, with a particular emphasis on comprehensive and full-time education. A core pillar of our work is the development of public sector leadership to enhance the quality of services delivered to the population.
Motriz stands out for three core strengths:
· Deep thematic expertise: We bring a well-established methodology and hands-on experience in literacy, education for adolescents, with an emphasis on comprehensive and full-time education, learning recovery, and public-sector leadership development.
· Strong implementation capacity: We work end-to-end with public managers, combining deep territorial engagement with innovation. Our approach spans diagnosis, planning, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement, integrating training, management, and pedagogical practices.
· Sustainable and equitable impact: We deliver results in the short, medium, and long term, with equity at the core, strengthening institutional capacity and aligning people, practices, and processes to support lasting change.
We collaborate closely with public managers to identify priority challenges in education systems, design integrated solutions tailored to local contexts, support the implementation of evidence-based public policies, and track results to enable learning and continuous improvement. Our approach delivers early results while strengthening institutional capacity for long-term, sustainable change.
